Hour Glass

There's a reason why we don't learn everything early on, or ever for most of us. Instead we learn things in layers, one grain at a time. You don't explain things to a child the way you would to an adult, that would be just too much information that would even be useless because the mind doesn't understand.  As your level of maturity increases so does your ability to soak in knowledge and so then life becomes more complex. Welcome to adulthood right? Kidding.
Life isn't one big hourglass, that would be too easy. I think of it as cycles that aren't necessarily measured in time because we all change at different stages in our lives.
We are born, live a little then Bam! Turn the hourglass, live a little more and then switch again. We learn what we need to know and live what we are meant to live. Enough philosophy for tonight ;)
-Sincerely, Amy
